The MAPLEWOOD MOTEL is a family-run Motel, centrally located in Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada.

Our units have just been completely renovated. We have 15 rooms in total, the selection is as follows:

• 2 bedrooms with kitchen, 3-piece bath with shower, ideal for families
• 1 room with queen bed, kitchen area, 3-piece bath, ideal for couples, seniors, etc.
• 2 double beds, 4-piece bath, no kitchen

All of our kitchens are well equipped and, whether you want to make a meal or just a picnic, everything you need is there. We have a microwave in every unit, including the units without kitchens, and coffee machines are available on request.

There is a lovely back yard where you can sit out on our picnic tables and is ideal for summer barbeques. Or you can sit at the front of the motel and enjoy our famous sunsets. Everything is within walking distance - shops, restaurants and our beautiful beach is only a short five minute drive away.

There are many activities close by:

• golf courses
• walking/bicycle trails
• snowmobile trails
• cross-country trails
• bird watching

We cater to families, seniors and people just wanting to get away for a relaxing break. We have a high standard of cleanliness and our staff are friendly and always willing to help.

Our check-in time is between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. Our check-out time is 11am. Reservations by phone may be made between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.

We do not accept dogs unless prior approval is obtained from the management. Dogs must be taken with their owners at all times and never left alone in the room. They must be kept on a leash while they are on Motel property.
